Where can I go to find general information on setting up a corporation, LLC, or other business entity?

The State of California has an informative website that can provide general information in setting up a business entity, fees that are associated, and necessary forms to submit. This is a great starting point to find general information.

Now, completing the necessary documents to form an entity may be a little complex. For example, forming an LLC requires specific documents that need to be submitted to the State of California within certain time frames. Missing a deadline can result in fees, or possible suspension of the business entity for non-compliance.
